JAMES 4:1-3

 1 ¶ From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?     2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.     3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

PRAYER THOUGHT
 

God very clearly states the reason why we do not have things.   We do not pray for them or If we do pray we pray in a manner that's wrongly motivated.   First let me say that prayer that God acknowledges is that which comes from the heart.

God is pleased when the heart of Man cries out for the Help of God.   God desires to bless us but of-times is restrained over the lack of our praying or the surface prayers that come from our head and not from our hearts.

We must get back to learning to pray earnestly to God.    Earnest prayer touches the heart of God.    Earnest prayer causes us to cry out and plead with God.    Earnest prayer causes us to be moved with tears and empty ourselves of ourselves.     Sometimes were so full of ourselves that God can do nothing for us.

May we with Pure intent, ask of God with an earnest heart for the petitions that are heavy upon our hearts.
